Withthegrid is a rapidly growing European scale-up in the cleantech sector. We assist grid operators and renewable energy producers in managing their infrastructure more intelligently and efficiently.​

Our Asset Monitoring Platform (AMP) provides real-time insights into the condition of networks through IoT technology. This enables our clients to monitor their assets more efficiently, resolve faults faster, and plan maintenance more effectively.​

Our Teleport team focuses on increasing flexibility in the electricity grid. With our Teleport Gateway, owners of renewable energy sources and batteries can smartly control their assets and better respond to fluctuations in supply and demand. This helps both grid operators and energy producers accelerate the energy transition.​

Your position as Working Student Finance

About half of this role is financial operations. Most of it is automated, so your focus is on the parts that need a person:

• keeping our records accurate,

• staying on top of debtors,

• answering customer questions on invoicing,

• finding better ways to run the admin in general.

The other half is strategic and analytical. You'll work directly with our finance lead on the numbers that drive real decisions:

• tracking our KPIs,

• supporting forecasting,

• digging into revenue streams, client value and profitability,

• getting exposure to investor relations and how we finance our growth.

The finance function is changing fast as the company grows. We're looking for someone who takes responsibility, adapts to new situations and responds well to whatever comes up.

Who are we looking for?

• Practical experience with finance through a relevant study, internship or hands-on work.

• Proactive: you spot what needs to happen and make it happen.

• A strong communicator who adjusts to whoever's in front of you.

• Available 2-3 days a week, ideally for at least 6 months.

• Able to be in our Utrecht office at least one of our office days each week (Monday or Wednesday), ideally both.

At Withthegrid, we operate in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment where collaboration and innovation are central. Our office is in Utrecht, but we offer flexibility for remote work. Mondays and Wednesdays are our regular office days, but you're welcome at our office any day.​
